has begun rolling. its time to start finding mentors and advisors. and decide about studio option vs. independent and all that. hmmm. i think i'll definitely be doing the independent option.
i thought i'd want to design some kind of intervention in the interest of commentary on the politics of historic preservation based onhow stricken i was by the slave hospital ruins on the luxurious st. simons golf course. and all of the slave cabins that had been turned into people's gates to their waterfront mansions on the island. but i think i'm going to go with something more related to my work thus far.

in vague specificity, something dealing with identity, space, memory. something site specific, a series of very small, publicly accessible, creatively detailed structures blurring the line between public art and architecture. something like confessional booths.
